About

Welcome!

While on the spiritual journey to heal myself I have found tools to support the healing process. Unconditionally loving spiritual communities, yoga, energy work and last but certainly not least I have found food. Food is the fuel that keeps our bodies running, and with it we absorb the energy that comes both from the food and with it. My initial path of healing with food has ignited my passion for creating Vegan, Gluten-Free, High-Vibration food that tastes good and a desire to want to share the information that I have collected over the years. Cooking has become a never-ending creative process with infinite blessings and tasty dishes!

Cheers to good health!

  2. Hi Brooke,
I am overjoyed to have found your blog! It is great to realize that there ARE other people out there who place more value on the spiritual pursuit of life than the reality created by the mainstream. I have been on the spiritual path for a few years now and have finally started to integrate the way I make a living to coincide with my spiritual life. The world of food is for me one of the most important areas to focus on as it represents a connection not only to our bodies, mind and spirits health but also to the environment. I look forward to supporting you on your path!

    1. Thank you so much! Means a lot to me that you are willing to follow and are interested even you are not vegan. My fiancee is a big meat eater, but he’s coming around and appreciates a lot of the dishes I make. 🙂

    1. Awesome, thanks! Even though I don’t eat meat I always check out pages in full because often times I still get ideas from meat dishes or find plenty of recipes I can eat by the same person. I look forward to following more of your posts as well! 🙂

    1. I really dropped the ball on getting back to you about this, my sincerest apologies! I have so many book recommendations I’d really like to create a whole post or section with a long list of them. A few that come to mind at the moment though: anything by Salma Melngailis and raw food books in general.. Have you any good suggestions? Happy New Year!

  10. Hi Brooke, I love your emphasis on nutrition of the spirit. I think we need to see food as a gift. We are so lucky (in the first world) to have a wealth of delicious foods available to us. We should never take that for granted. I strongly believe that growing your own food gives a deeper appreciation and greater satisfaction. Every humble tomato becomes a triumph of nature and our ability to harness her.

    1. Wow, so well said and I completely agree! This year we are expanding our garden, we already have some seeds (both ones that are familiar to us and those that will be experimental) and are really looking forward to receiving more from our garden to nourish us. Thank you for taking the time to reach out!
